James is responsible for producing energy statements for submission with planning applications. He is experienced in thermal modelling analysis and SAP calculations to demonstrate Code for Sustainable Homes compliance and Energy Performance Certification.
He has a degree in physics and is currently studying for a Masters in Building Services Engineering with Sustainable Energy.
James has a particular interest in energy efficiency measures and their impact within mandatory energy modelling. He has a wide experience in techniques to achieve energy targets within the Code for Sustainable Homes, EcoHomes and 'Merton Rule' type planning requirements.
He has a keen interest in combining theoretical science with practical solutions, particularly for ventilation, energy efficiency and low carbon energy.
