As Managing Partner, Richard oversees all aspects of the projects his team are working on. He has advised on the innovation and sustainability aspects of a wide range of regeneration schemes and development projects. His particular interest is in finding cost-effective pragmatic solutions that meet high environmental performance standards. He has specialist expertise in innovative build methods that improve quality and reduce construction duration. He has been directly involved in a wide range of complex planning applications where high levels of renewable and low carbon technologies have been required.
Richard has overseen the work of his Practice at all stages of development projects from concept through to handover. He also acts as sustainability advisor to the House Builders Association and is a Technical Panel member of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
Richard has 30 years experience of the construction industry in design, research and he formerly led the construction research and technical support function within a major development and construction company.
