We are delighted to announce that the winner of our 2017 Christmas quiz was David Udall of St George. David generously nominated Cancer Research to receive our £500 donation, a charity that uses donations to carry out world-class research working to help prevent cancer, diagnose it early and develop new treatment. Thank you to all those who took part and congratulations to everyone else who also submitted the correct answers.
2017 saw members of the Hodkinson team raise over £6,000 for charity, whilst having great fun in the process.
We got involved in some fantastic client fund raising events including :
- Crest Nicholson’s Day of the Dead (for Variety),
- Berkeley Group’s Football tournament (for Demelza Hospice); and
- JLL Property Triathlon (for Crisis).
Charlotte challenged herself to complete the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 mile cycle, fund raising for ME Research UK which Hodkinson Consultancy match funded, bringing the total to £1,679.50. Simon, who completed the 100 mile cycle last year raising money for The Red Cross, this year went off-road at the ‘Ard Rock Enduro, a 25 mile mountain biking route with six timed downhill sections in the Yorkshire Dales.
In December we raised money in house for Macmillan Cancer Support through a coffee morning and wearing Christmas jumpers for Save the Children. We also collected food for the local food bank, allowing this to be distributed across the Borough of Harrow.
