The Code for Sustainable Homes sets very high standards for water efficiency in homes. For Code levels 3 and 4, a 40% reduction from the current Building Regulation standard is required.
In the coming years, as Code Level 6 becomes a mandatory standard, there will be an increasing role for grey water recycling and rainwater harvesting systems.
