Our Work: Energy Statement, Sustainability Statement & Dynamic Overheating Assessment for Planning

Working closely with our client, Meadow Residential, and Stiff + Trevillion architects, we developed a cost-efficient energy strategy which was able to maximise as much as possible the CO2 emission reductions and comply with London Plan’s policies. The overheating mitigation strategy was carefully balanced with a high performance fabric, without having an adverse impact on the internal daylight levels, the architectural design proposal and the visual appearance of the building. A key highlight, indicating our added value, turned out to be the overshadowing analysis for the rooftop plan, which led to strategically positioned PV arrays in areas where they can receive maximum solar radiation throughout the day.
