This development in Yorkshire is part of the redevelopment of Allerton Bywater's former colliery site, comprising some 24 hectares to the southeast of Leeds. The scheme comprises 520 new 'Excellent' EcoHomes, along with 25,000 m2 of commercial and community space. A Green Transport Plan is being implemented and the internal access system is being designed as a 'Homezone' area, giving priority to people over cars.
