Kidbrooke Village

Client: Berkeley Homes

Kidbrooke Village is the largest regeneration project in Europe comprising over 4000 homes and other building types.

We prepared and negotiated the energy strategy to secure outline planning consent which was granted 3 years ago. We are now retained as ongoing energy advisors for the Reserved Matters Applications, Code and BREEAM assessors as well as being responsible for energy and technical certification.

We have recently completed an ESCO tendering process for energy management services across the whole scheme. Of particular concern has been the phasing of community energy across the scheme together with strategic consolidation of the heating infrastructure.

As well as supporting the project team with Code and energy certification on all previous phases, we have assisted with technical reports required for detailed planning consents.
