Tideway

Client: Berkeley Group

Tideway Wharf is a significant mixed use scheme on the banks of the Thames in the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area by St James. The development consists of 750 residential dwellings; retail and leisure facilities, and a hotel built within 6 architecturally striking blocks.

We were involved from the offset of the planning application process providing advice and collaborative working in devising the energy and sustainability strategy for the whole site. This involved meeting the requirements of the GLA, Wandsworth Borough Council and the Opportunity Area Framework policies.

The site was granted planning permission in early 2011, with development on site due to commence later that year. We are appointed for the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM assessment work for the whole development. This includes working within a large design team to achieve the most viable and practical solutions for this high specification development.

  • Extensive collaboration with the GLA and Wandsworth Borough Council to meet the most cost effective solution.
