Reducing carbon emissions

We have specific experience of reducing CO2 emissions associated with buildings in use and the embodied energy arising from construction.

Building Regulations over time are requiring  ongoing further reductions in CO2 emissions associated with their use. The Regulated Energy aspects are modelled through SAP for residential and SBEM for commercial buildings. Discretionary Energy use is assessed using CLG guidance. Embodied energy is assessed using the ENVEST software from BRE.

Through our experience on a wide range of projects we have developed cost effective approaches to reducing carbon emissions.
