Our track record equips us to respond to challenging situations

We were appointed to prepare an Energy & Sustainability Statement, addressing all policies of the London Plan and London Borough of Ealing and ensuring the scheme could demonstrate the highest appropriate CO2 reduction over a pre-development baseline.

With our extensive understanding of the Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) process, we were able to develop a bespoke energy strategy for the site, maximising CO2 emission reductions through a fabric first strategy. Through this approach we were able to demonstrate that the scheme could achieve a 31% emission reduction on a pre-development baseline. In addition, the scheme benefitted from excellent transport connections, the prioritisation of sustainable material procurement and water efficient fittings in the site office and facilities.

Our understanding of a wide range of sustainability and planning issues ensured that we were well placed to help prepare the Energy and Sustainability strategy for the development.
