Heat Network Consultant Roles

Do you have a passion for making buildings work for the people living in them, enjoy working with a range of disciplines and want to work with an environment consultancy that acts as a trusted adviser to the leading players in the high-end residential sector?

By joining our Heat Networks Team, you will get the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and services at all stages of the project lifecycle from initial feasibility through to ongoing operation. Our scope includes design, commercial and contractual work for both heat networks and wider energy management.

These roles will suit someone wishing to advance their career and increase their exposure to external stakeholders. You will be supported by our team of specialists and whilst it would be beneficial to have 2-4 years’ experience in a related technical field, less experienced applicants will also be considered for the role.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Graduate – Relevant undergraduate or master’s degree.
  • Specialist – 2+ years in specialist consulting or a heat networks related role.
  • Senior Specialist – 4+ years in specialist consulting or a heat networks related role.
  • Experience in a broad range of the following:
    • Feasibility studies
    • Masterplanning
    • Cashflow/economic modelling
    • Adoption/acceptance testing
    • Design (up to RIBA Stage 3) and design reviews
    • Onsite validation and acceptance testing
    • ESCO tendering and commercial advice
    • CIBSE CP 1 compliance and consultancy.
  • Member or affiliate of a relevant professional body and/or a Chartered professional.
  • Proven capability of working on multiple projects.
  • Desire to learn new technical skills and take on new challenges, with a focus on heat networks.
  • Excellent technical communication and presentation skills.
  • First-rate report writing and numerically literate.

Environmental Graduate/Specialist

Do you have a passion for making buildings work for the people living in them, want to work with a range of disciplines and want to work with an environment consultancy that acts as a trusted adviser to the leading players in the high-end residential sector?

We are looking for an Environmental Graduate or Environmental Specialist to join our Environment and Planning team.  We provide industry-leading environmental assessment and consultancy services to a wide range of developers across all stages of the development process.

In this role you will be exposed to multiple services including BREEAM, HQM, CEEQUAL, Sustainability Statements, Health Impact Assessments, Waste Management Strategies, and an array of other Specialist Environmental reports in a supportive, learning environment. This role will suit someone who is looking to launch their career into an Environmental Consultancy role.

Successful candidates will ideally have:

  • Relevant undergraduate or master’s degree.
  • Excellent technical communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience or an interest in Sustainable Assessments such as HQM, CEEQUAL and BREEAM.
  • Keen interest in housing, planning, development, and construction issues.
  • First-rate report writing.
