We are very pleased to have assisted Redrow Homes in successfully completing their Energy Centre at Colindale Gardens and handing over operation to an ESCO.
Colindale Gardens is a scheme of around 4,000 homes in north London which we’ve been working on from the outset in 2015. With Redrow we developed a Heat Network Masterplan that set the strategic design requirements for the Energy Centre and heat network. This enabled easy network consolidation, reduced plant oversizing through considering operational experience and ensured that a valuable high quality asset was delivered.
Detailed design and build of the Energy Centre was undertaken by Kantor Energy, with this now supplying heat to 1,061 homes. We also assisted Redrow in ESCO tendering process, which culminated in the recent contracting of Metropolitan under a long term contract which is to provide a consistent service and resilient supply of heat to residents into the future.
