This marks a major milestone as the first residential building in the UK to reach the Platinum level of the WELL Building Standard.
As the project’s WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP), Hodkinson supported the integration of performance-based strategies that promote health and wellbeing throughout the home.
WELL Certification is an internationally recognised framework that measures how a building supports the physical and mental health of its occupants. It assesses performance across key elements such as air and water quality, natural and electric lighting, thermal and acoustic comfort, materials and their impact on indoor environments, nourishment, movement, and community wellbeing. Achieving Platinum demonstrates leadership in creating spaces designed to help people feel healthier, more comfortable and more connected.
