Aidan joined Hodkinson Consultancy in September 2025 after graduating from Loughborough University with a First-Class degree in Geography. He gained valuable experience in the environmental sector through a series of placements and internships, including one undertaken during his studies. These roles helped him build strong technical knowledge and develop key skills such as report writing and problem solving. In one of these positions, he worked with the Welsh public sector and government to support decarbonisation efforts for public buildings, using technologies such as heat pumps and solar PV.

Aidan’s role focuses on conducting SAP assessments for new-build domestic properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and standards.

He is an Associate Member of the Energy Institute and is working towards achieving Chartered status. Aidan is passionate about continuous professional development and using his expertise to make a positive impact on the environment.
