Jonny joined Hodkinson in 2022 as a Graduate Energy Consultant, after completing a Master’s in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Southampton. His current role involves energy and tariff modelling, and technical reporting. Jonny is an associate member of the Energy Institute and is working towards chartership.

In his first year at Hodkinson, he has worked in a number of energy-related service areas. He is well versed in navigating local and regional planning policy and appreciates the importance of embedding appropriate design principles at this stage. His understanding of heating systems, particularly heat networks, allows him to provide robust advice on the suitability of heating options for developments of varying sizes and timescales. The process to do so is multifaceted and involves balancing commercial and environmental drivers whilst keeping the needs of the end user at the forefront.
