Vince joined Hodkinson Consultancy in July 2025 as a Senior Consultant with over 10 years’ experience in energy and sustainability.

He has extensive experience in optimising building performance across diverse project types, such as schools, commercial, student accommodation and large scale residential.

He is proficient in executing complex technical analyses, including detailed overheating assessments to ensure occupant comfort as well as Part L compliance, providing expert guidance on meeting and exceeding building regulations for energy performance.

He can also carry out thermal bridging analysis on building junctions, ensuring the accurate assessment and mitigation of heat loss and condensation risk. Vince is also an accredited BREEAM assessor, possessing a deep understanding of technical and compliance issues across all major BREEAM categories, including Energy, Water, Materials and Health and Wellbeing.

He is working towards becoming a chartered engineer with CIBSE.
