BEng (Hons), AMIMechE, DIS
Georgia is a Graduate at Hodkinson, working primarily on the development of heat networks. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University, she brings a strong technical understanding with strengths in energy system analysis, sustainability strategy and data-driven decision making. Georgia has experience in projects incorporating circular design principles and innovative approaches to decarbonisation, as well as an award-winning project recognised with the IMechE Project Prize.
Before joining Hodkinson, Georgia completed a design placement within the environmental care sector, where her work on the strategic analysis of sustainability for market leadership led to being awarded the James France Engineering Placement Prize. She has also explored artificial intelligence in life cycle assessments as well as international sustainability communications, broadening her understanding of how technology and collaboration can drive environmental performance.
Beyond this, Georgia is an Associate Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and is actively working towards Chartered Engineer status. She’s also an enthusiastic STEM Ambassador supporting initiatives to inspire the next generation of engineers and has taken on leadership roles within the Women’s Engineering Society, academic engineering representation and as a Redbull Soapbox team captain.
