The south east of England is acknowledged as one of the driest areas of the UK and, recent droughts (particularly in 2012) highlighted the need for greater water conservation. Reducing water use is crucial not only to preserve supplies for a rapidly growing population, but also to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, the abstraction of water can have devastating implications on biodiversity and conservation efforts.

With our knowledge and understanding of water conservation, we are able to provide pragmatic advice on how to reduce water consumption – both through the adoption of cost-effective technologies and sanitaryware specification, and through the preparation of educational material – often included as part of the Home User Guide.

We are also experienced in preparing water consumption reports for planning applications for both new and existing buildings.
